Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Veterinary Technician to oversee daily technical operations, support and mentor our technician team, and work closely with our veterinarians to ensure exceptional patient care and smooth clinic flow. This role is ideal for a licensed technician who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and setting high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, mentor, and support the veterinary technician and assistant team

· Coordinate daily workflow and ensure efficient patient care

· Maintain high standards for nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, and patient safety

· Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatments

· Oversee training, onboarding, and ongoing skill development of staff

· Ensure clinic protocols, and equipment maintenance are followed

· Foster a positive, professional, and respectful workplace culture

· Act as a liaison between technicians, veterinarians, and management

Qualifications

· Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) in good standing

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Confident in anesthesia, surgical nursing, and emergency care

· Ability to lead by example and manage challenging situations calmly

· Passion for patient care, teamwork, and continuous improvement
