Costumes and Crayons Daycare Ltd. is looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate educational activities and programs.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Encourage positive behavior and support social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with families and fellow educators to support each child's unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behavior, and health.
  • Create a learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Work with the team to continuously improve classroom experiences.
  • Follow all provincial regulations and daycare policies regarding child care and safety.

Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification (required).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clear criminal record check.
  • Experience in a daycare or early childhood setting (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and organized approach to childcare.
