Krafty Kids is growing, and we're looking for high-energy, confident dance instructors to lead fun, engaging kids' dance parties and combo dance + art experiences at birthday parties, schools, and events across Toronto and the GTA.

About the Role

You'll be leading:

  • 45-minute hip hop dance parties using today's kid-friendly music
  • Dance + Art Combo parties (30 minutes of dance + 30 minutes of a simple creative activity)
  • Groups of 8–20 children, ages 3–10

This role is perfect for someone who loves kids, brings great energy, and can confidently lead a group — not just dance at them.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching or leading dance for children (dance studio, camp, school, recreation, cheer, etc.)
  • Comfortable engaging a wide age range (ages 3–10)
  • Confident managing groups and keeping kids excited and involved
  • High-energy, upbeat, and fun personality
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable traveling to party locations (access to a car is a strong asset)
  • Available on weekends (prime party times)

Dance Style & Skills

  • Hip hop / pop-style movement
  • Easy-to-follow routines
  • Ability to mix follow-along choreography with freestyle party dancing
  • Strong crowd control through fun (not strict discipline)

Bonus (Not Required, but a Plus)

  • Experience with kids' programming (camps, schools, early childhood)
  • Comfort assisting with simple creative/art activities
  • Background in performance, theatre, cheer, or fitness instruction

Job Type

  • Part-time / contract
