The Opportunity:
Reporting to the VP, Clinical Services, the Bilingual Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating clinical training programs for partner clinics across Canada in both English and French. This role serves as a clinical subject-matter expert (SME), providing education, support, and guidance to external partner sites and internal French-speaking clinical staff. The Nurse Educator will develop training materials, lead virtual and in-person sessions, ensure clinical best practices are upheld, and support product or program adoption across the network.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
Clinical Education & Training
- Plan, develop, and facilitate bilingual (EN/FR) training programs for partner clinics, internal teams, and service providers.
- Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions, including onboarding, skills-based workshops, refresher sessions, and continuing education.
- Provide clinical coaching, mentorship, and support to ensure safe, effective, and compliant practice across all partner locations
- Assess learning needs and adapt training delivery to various audience
Content Development & Documentation
- Create bilingual training materials including presentations, videos, e-learning modules, quick- reference guides, SOPs, and job aids.
- Ensure all educational content aligns with organizational standards, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and update French translations of clinical documentation, patient materials, and training content for accuracy and clarity.
Subject-Matter Expertise (SME)
- Serve as the primary clinical expert for French-speaking in-house clinic staff and all third-party partners.
- Provide guidance on clinical workflows, best practices, product usage, and program protocols.
- Act as an escalation point for clinical questions or complex cases requiring specialized knowledge
- Maintain current knowledge of Canadian clinical regulations, accreditation standards, and provincial nursing requirements.
Program Implementation & Support
- Support rollout of new programs, products, or processes across partner clinics nationwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption and consistent standards of care.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness, compliance, and clinical outcomes.
- Identify gaps or risks within partner clinics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Relationship Management
- Build strong working relationships with partner clinics, serving as a trusted advisor and clinical liaison.
- Represent the organization professionally at meetings, conferences, and training events.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure partner engagement and satisfaction.
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
Education & Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent required, Master's degree an asset.
- Current registration in good standing with a provincial nursing regulatory body
- Additional certifications in adult education, training, or specialty clinical areas (e.g., diabetes, wound care, infusion therapy) are strong assets.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (hospital, community, or specialized setting).
- Experience as a Nurse Educator, Clinical Instructor, or in professional training roles required
- Experience delivering bilingual education (EN/FR), both virtually and in person.
- Experience working with multi-site clinical operations is a strong asset
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English and French (written and verbal) is required.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and adult learning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to create polished training materials and e-learning content.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple training schedules.
- Ability to travel across Canada (50%).
