Job Summary:

We are expanding our capacity and programs, and are seeking a dedicated and capable Project Coordinator to manage internal initiatives (Janaza service & volunteer coordination), plan and manage events and fundraisers.

The Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and projects across TCC. This includes managing community events and fundraisers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage volunteers, Janaza services and a variety of projects operations and outreach.
  • Liaise with staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure successful execution.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all TCC events, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Ensure all events align with the Centre's mission and community goals.
  • Maintain organized records for projects, events, and partner communications.
  • Support day-to-day office administration related to ongoing programs.
  • Contribute content for TCC's website, social media, and newsletters related to programs and events.
  • Support external communications with donors, vendors, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience planning and executing events and fundraisers.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Familiarity with Islamic community values and environments.
  • Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
