Pizzaiolo Restaurant in Grimsby is a well-known establishment dedicated to providing high-quality food and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Food Service Supervisor to join our team and oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and help grow business in the town to promote this new store in making it a success .

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of food service staff.

  • Train employees in job duties, sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures.

  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.

  • Assist with daily food preparation and maintain adequate inventory levels.

  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies when required.

  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales , inventory, and staff attendance while closing during end of the day to report manager .

  • Assist with preparing staff daily work schedules.

  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas, dining areas, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food service or supervisory role is preferred.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

  • Knowledge of food safety standards is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
