Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. The Press Brake Operator will also be involved in quality inspection and assembly processes, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts as per engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products using calipers and other measuring tools.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes and timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in the assembly of components as required by production schedules.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues or malfunctions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with press brake operation.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and operation of CNC equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
