Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
  • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity
  • Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
  • Enforce company policies and safety protocols with professionalism and discretion
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information as needed
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
  • Conduct loss prevention activities to minimize theft or damage

Skills

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
  • Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
  • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical fitness to patrol large areas and respond quickly to incidents
