We are a Montreal headquartered company specialized in oilfield and drilling equipment international sales, upgrades and refurbishment with a plan to expand in Alberta.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative based in Alberta to develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the oilfield, drilling, and industrial equipment markets. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of oilfield equipment and experience in sales to drilling contractors, oilfield service companies and O&G operators. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing customer accounts, preparing quotations, and supporting clients through the full sales cycle — from initial inquiry to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand Sigma Energy's presence in the Alberta market (Edmonton, Nisku, Red Deer, Calgary).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with drilling contractors, service companies, and operators.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with the technical and operations team to provide tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Maintain CRM records and provide weekly sales reports.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in oilfield equipment and products sales.
  • Knowledge of drilling equipment, rig components, or hydraulic systems is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Alberta key Oil & Gas players (drilling contractors, service companies, operators).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Alberta as required.
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and results-driven.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in oilfield equipment and products sales.
  • Knowledge of drilling equipment, rig components, or hydraulic systems is an asset.
