We are a Montreal headquartered company specialized in oilfield and drilling equipment international sales, upgrades and refurbishment with a plan to expand in Alberta.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative based in Alberta to develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the oilfield, drilling, and industrial equipment markets. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of oilfield equipment and experience in sales to drilling contractors, oilfield service companies and O&G operators. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing customer accounts, preparing quotations, and supporting clients through the full sales cycle — from initial inquiry to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand Sigma Energy's presence in the Alberta market (Edmonton, Nisku, Red Deer, Calgary).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with drilling contractors, service companies, and operators.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations team to provide tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Maintain CRM records and provide weekly sales reports.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in oilfield equipment and products sales.
- Knowledge of drilling equipment, rig components, or hydraulic systems is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Alberta key Oil & Gas players (drilling contractors, service companies, operators).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Alberta as required.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and results-driven.
Required Skills
