Overview:

Linterra Concrete is seeking a skilled Class 1 or Class 3 driver to join our Concrete Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to operate concrete mixer trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to various job sites. Experience in handling mixer truck configurations is essential. As a Mixer Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of concrete materials, contributing to the success of our construction projects and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to transport and deliver concrete to designated locations.
  • Load and unload concrete materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle.
  • Manage slump levels and ensure the quality of concrete during transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

Skills:

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience operating concrete mixer trucks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading materials.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
