The Opportunity:

beyond 3:30
is a unique initiative that provides after school programming focused on healthy living and learning opportunities in the arts for middle school children, Monday-Friday in one of the places they trust the most, their local school. It supports priority communities through innovative partnering between a wide variety of local community organizations and corporations.

is operating in 24 select middle-school locations across the city.

We are hiring the following
Program Staff
to support our beyond 3:30 program. These are
part-time, contract positions that end in June 2026, with the possibility of renewal. Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
(Hours vary by position and may change based on program needs and school schedules)

Site Coordinator

Lead the on-site delivery of beyond 3:30 program at the assigned school. Oversee staff, support youth, coordinate program logistics, and ensure the smooth operation of daily programs. Ideal for youth leaders with experience in program coordination.

Academic Support Staff

Support students through homework help, literacy and numeracy activities, and leadership development in a fun, inclusive environment.

Recreation Staff

Lead engaging physical activities, sports, and games that promote teamwork, fair play, and healthy living.

Nutrition Staff

Prepare and serve healthy meals, facilitate our Junior Chefs' Club, and teach students about nutrition and food literacy.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with youth, has strong communication and leadership skills, and thrives in a collaborative, community-focused setting. Relevant experience or education, First Aid, and HIGH FIVE training are assets (or willing to obtain shortly after hire).
