Role Description

An Independent Close Protection Officer is responsible for providing personal security and protective services to high-profile individuals (VIPs, executives, principals, and their families), ensuring their safety, discretion, and freedom of movement at all times.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide close protection to the principal during daily activities, travel, and public or private events.


• Conduct threat and risk assessments and implement appropriate security measures.


• Plan and secure routes, venues, and transportation.


• Identify, monitor, and mitigate potential threats.


• Maintain a low-profile, professional, and discreet presence.


• Coordinate with drivers, local security teams, and law enforcement when required.


• Respond effectively to emergency situations, including evacuation and first aid.


• Ensure strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Physical Security and advanced Security practices.
  • Experience in Law Enforcement or related Police work.
  • Skills in Security-related Training and implementing protective measures.
  • Strong situational awareness, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Fluency in English and French is highly desirable; additional languages are a plus.
  • Previous experience working in international or high-stakes environments preferred.
  • Certification in close protection, defensive driving, or first aid is a significant advantage.
