Supply Chain Manager
Full-Time | Permanent
St. Albert, AB | Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Description
Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with the capability, ambition, and leadership mindset to build a high-performing supply chain function—not simply maintain one. This is a foundational role designed for someone ready to bring structure, discipline, and accountability to the supply chain while growing into full ownership of the function.
This role is about designing and operationalizing a scalable supply chain operating system that supports growth, improves execution, and reduces firefighting. You will play a critical role in aligning planning, purchasing, warehousing, and sales operations into a cohesive, execution-focused system.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and implement a scalable Plan–Buy–Move supply chain operating model
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, and handoffs across Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales Operations
- Translate MRP and ERP outputs into reliable, trusted execution signals
- Lead supplier strategy, negotiations, performance management, and shortage recovery
- Reduce reactive "firefighting" through process standardization, operating cadence, and disciplined execution
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Finance to support growth without compromising delivery or cost
- Drive data discipline and user adoption within Epicor, turning the ERP into a true competitive advantage
- Build visibility, predictability, and control across the end-to-end supply chain
What You Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in a supply chain leadership role
- Background in manufacturing or a closely related industry (construction, oil & gas, industrial, or heavy equipment)
- Strong understanding of complex, multi-step supply chains
- Hands-on experience with Epicor or another manufacturing-focused ERP system
- Proven ability to design processes, not just follow them
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Who Will Excel in This Role
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Thrives in building structure where it doesn't yet exist
- Enjoys turning ambiguity into clear systems and execution
- Is disciplined, process-driven, and data-oriented
- Can lead change and drive accountability across teams
- Is motivated by ownership, impact, and long-term growth
Why Join the Team
- Opportunity to shape and lead a supply chain function from the ground up
- High visibility role with meaningful impact on company performance and growth
- Collaborative, operations-focused environment that values execution and accountability
Salary & Perks
- Salary: $110,000 – $125,000
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
