Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in various project management methodologies and tools to ensure successful delivery of initiatives across multiple departments. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and utilize industry-standard practices to drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
  • Lead project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle utilizing methodologies like Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or PMBOK.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee vendor management activities including negotiations, contract management, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and communication using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
  • Monitor project progress through data analysis and reporting using Visio, Power BI, or other analytics tools; present updates to stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage change management processes to adapt to evolving project needs while minimizing disruption.
  • Lead program management efforts for multiple related projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate team management activities including supervision of team members and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards such as PMBOK or PRINCE2.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Workday, Basecamp, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management, risk management, requirements management, and quality management processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle ERP Cloud; SAS or data analysis skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in product development or product management is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent are preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects within a dynamic organization that values innovation and excellence in project delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,864.18-$133,420.58 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
