Position Overview: As a Cannabis Educator / Budtender, you will play a vital role in our dispensary by providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about cannabis products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for helping customers select the right products based on their needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assess customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about the different strains, products, and their effects.
  • Educate customers on consumption methods, dosing, and product safety.
  • Sales and Transactions:
  • Assist customers with purchases and handle transactions accurately.
  • Promote products, sales, and special events to drive business.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding cannabis sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and research to provide accurate information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Certification:
  • Cansell Certificate

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a retail environment, which may require standing for long periods.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
