Summary:
The successful candidate will provide support to various executives within the company and assist in ensuring smooth operations across all departments.
As the first point of contact, you will answer phone calls and greet clients upon their arrival at the office. Daily reception support is required, and knowledge of BrokerBay would be considered an asset.
Experience with Transaction Desk is preferred, as you will be a key support for our deals department, processing and approving paperwork submitted on behalf of agents.
Familiarity with tools like Eventbrite, Google Workspace is an asset.
You will assist the agents, Leadership Team and Broker of Record with initiatives as required.
This role involves managing daily responsibilities while remaining adaptable to new tasks that arise in a fast-paced brokerage environment. Assisting with social events, contacting agents, and liaising with law offices will be part of your regular duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will:
- Answer incoming calls, book and confirm showing appointments, receive deposit cheques, greet clients and walk-ins, and input messages using BrokerBay (internal paging system)
- Assist with typing, managing the appointment desk/phones, and supporting agents with offers, drafting letters, and other documents
- Perform other duties as assigned by executives (leadership)
- Maintain office cleanliness
- Operate and support a front desk tailored to the needs of the real estate industry
Hours of Work: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: In-Person, Cobourg
Experience:
- Real estate experience is preferred, either from working in a real estate brokerage or law firm, or holding a real estate license in the past
- Office experience is essential
