We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is a Full time, term position covering a maternity leave. This is an in-office position, Monday to Friday, located in Nisku, AB.
The ideal candidate is someone with proven experience in office administration who is highly proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
The successful candidate will provide essential support to management and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to managers and team members.
- Draft, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Manage spreadsheets, data entry, and reporting in Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars in Outlook and Teams.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and work in customized online systems to support the business.
- Assist with office communications and correspondence.
- Support event planning, travel arrangements, and other logistical needs.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with office equipment and general administrative processes.
