Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Steward at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, located in Mississauga, ON. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing dishes, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are kept in good condition. Additional responsibilities include complying with food safety and hygiene standards and collaborating effectively with culinary and service teams to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Dishwashing and general food preparation tasks in a professional kitchen environment
  • Basic Cooking skills and a willingness to assist with meal preparation as required
  • Strong Communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing kitchen cleanliness and maintenance
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is beneficial but not required
