We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong commitment to food safety and quality. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure readiness for upcoming shifts
  • Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and hygiene standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking tools used in a professional setting
  • Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality and presentation standards
  • Prior experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required
