Reporting to the Managing Director, Global Hub Operations - YYZ, the Director, Hub Administration - YYZ will be responsible for the leadership and overall management of the Administration, Hub Customer and Baggage Flow and Deployment departments at Air Canada's YYZ Global Hub. This role will drive a strong culture of safety, internal and external customer service and operational excellence. This role will also be accountable for the support, execution and development of departmental plans to support Air Canada's transformative strategy. The Director, Hub Administration – YYZ is a visible and present leader in the hub and airport community, a customer advocate and is an outstanding leader of people.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant university degree (Bachelor's), certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate with the role
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Airport operations leadership experience. STOC, CRE, Finance, PMO and/or Workforce Planning experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Has a track record of consistent performance and delivery, with strong focus on safety, customer experience and business transformation
  • Strong people leadership and people development skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate teams while holding them accountable for results
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong abilities to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Flexible to support a 24/7/365 operations
  • Experience in budget management and financial decision-making an asset.
  • Familiarity and commitment to Corporate Environment guidelines.
  • Preference given to bilingual (English and French).
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant du directeur général – Exploitation – Plaque tournante mondiale de Toronto, le directeur – Administration des plaques tournantes YYZ sera chargé de la direction et de la gestion globale des services de l'Administration, du Flux de clients et de bagages et du Déploiement à la plaque tournante mondiale de Toronto d'Air Canada. La personne retenue favorisera une forte culture axée sur la sécurité, le service aux clients internes et externes et l'excellence en exploitation. Elle sera également responsable du soutien, de la mise en œuvre et de l'élaboration des plans des services internes à l'appui de la stratégie de transformation de la Société. Le directeur – Administration des plaques tournantes est un leader visible et présent à la plaque tournante et au sein de la communauté aéroportuaire, en plus d'être un défenseur de la clientèle et un leader exceptionnel pour les employés.

Qualifications:

  • Diplôme universitaire (baccalauréat), certification pertinente, ou expérience pertinente et proportionnelle au poste.
  • Au minimum 5 à 7 années d'expérience dans la direction de l'exploitation d'un aéroport. Une expérience dans les domaines du CCOE, des Biens immobiliers, des Finances, du BGP ou de la Planification des effectifs est un atout.
  • Habileté à travailler de façon autonome.
  • Expérience de rendement et capacité à obtenir des résultats constants, en mettant l'accent sur la sûreté, l'expérience client et la transformation commerciale.
  • Solides compétences en matière de leadership et de perfectionnement des employés, avec une capacité à inspirer et à motiver les équipes tout en les tenant responsables des résultats.
  • Solides capacités en communication et en négociation.
  • Forte capacité à collaborer et à travailler en équipe.
  • Flexibilité pour soutenir l'exploitation 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7, 365 jours par année.
  • Expérience en gestion budgétaire et en prise de décisions financières, un atout.
  • Connaissance des lignes directrices de l'Environnement de l'entreprise et engagement à leur égard.
  • La préférence sera accordée aux candidats bilingues (français et anglais).
  • Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
