Location: Southeast Edmonton (Royal Gardens)

Days: Saturday and Sunday

Hours: 9am-4pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: prompting the daily routine, AM routine (bathing dressing toileting), medication administration, Participation in activities (Zumba, Yoga, puzzles and crafts), encouragement of independent life skills, Development of social skills both in the home and community with peer groups, light housekeeping, supervision, and companionship.

There is a sever Gluten and Lactose allergy in the home.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: the successful candidate must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, be a non-smoker, and speak fluent English. Previous experience as a Community Support Worker is not required but will be considered an asset. The Ideal candidate will have a good sense of humor and be familiar with PTSD, FASD, and Down Syndrome behaviors.

Rate of Pay: $20.00/ Hour

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals in their homes. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are compassionate and patient, and have strong organizational abilities.
