Our Team
Production Infrastructure and Engineering (PI&E) powers EA's games and live services. We ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability, allowing developers to build and launch games quickly with cloud-based infrastructure.

The Role
As an Engagement Program Manager, you will help us facilitate successful launches and live operations of game titles and services, while communicating, planning, and tracking partner requests. You will collaborate with EA studios in North America, including Respawn, Bioware, Full Circle, and Mobile studios. You will be a central point of contact between our studios and platform teams, and will identify and address dependencies or issues that may affect delivery. Through collaboration with diverse stakeholders and the use of established processes, you will foster a culture of ongoing improvement, promote the integration of new technologies, and ensure partner requirements are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.

You Will

  • Facilitate launches and live operations of game titles and services by ensuring all PI&E domain owners and PMs have outlined tasks required for launches
  • Assess and communicate the trade-offs and possible effects of partner and PI&E decisions related to online infrastructure, products, and services
  • Help troubleshoot issues related to technology, budget, and execution by connecting with the appropriate points of contact and subject matter experts, coordinating meetings, and building agreement on priorities and timelines; participate in root cause analyses.
  • Manage partner requests: bringing opportunities and partner requests to PI&E following established intake and triage processes; report on PI&E deliverables to the partners through monthly reports; guide quarterly portfolio reviews with partners using the common template.
  • Align partner needs with PI&E product and services: gathering and distributing customer feedback to PI&E product and services team, creating and updating PI&E tech dependencies matrix for each partner, manage PI&E internal knowledge hub where PI&E team members can self-serve information about each partner, including its games, points of contacts, links to the tech dependencies; track partner engagements through an accessible CRM-like system
  • Promote products and services to partners: representing PI&E products and services to partners, periodically reviewing PI&E Hosting Guidelines and other documentation.

You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of program management experience, with a focus on infrastructure platforms, developer tools, or multiplayer game hosting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and containers.
  • Experience managing projects with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
  • Experience with documentation and work tracking tools such as JIRA, , Service Now, Confluence, GitLab, and Google Suite.
  • Experience working with engineers, SREs, or game developers.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
