Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-Time Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles, with strong communication skills and a focus on guest satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up breakfast items according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Greet guests warmly and ensure they have everything they need for an enjoyable breakfast experience.
  • Monitor food levels throughout service and restock items as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
  • Ensure all food items are fresh, properly labeled, and stored at appropriate temperatures.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Assist guests with special requests or dietary needs when possible.
  • Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
  • Break down and clean the breakfast area after service, properly storing unused food items.
  • Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report shortages to management.

Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
