The Holiday Inn Express & Staybridge Suites hotels are actively recruiting members for our kitchen team for our evening social. We are looking for mature individuals who will help to create a warm and inviting place for our guests to call "home". Some morning breakfast shifts also available if interested. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Greets guests with a smile and warmth and accommodate special requests as needed. - Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. - Sets up the buffet before guests begin arriving for evening social or breakfast. Displays the food and beverages in an organized and attractive - Cleans area of and around buffet by wiping, sweeping and/or mopping. Clean off tables as guests depart, prior to the arrival of the next guest. - Clears, washes, and keeps stocked plates, cups, bowls, utensils and napkins for guests to - Prepares coffee and/or tea by established - Keeps juices and other perishables such as butter and yogurt stocked and chilled or on - Frequently checks for low food supply. Efficiently replenishes with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed during breakfast hours. - Maintains cleanliness of buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as - Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as - Removes and disposes of leftover food at end of breakfast shift. Cleans buffet area according to established standards. Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored for the next day’s - May keep daily or weekly records of foods used and - Inventories breakfast items regularly and orders or purchases items as necessary and as directed. - Properly stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures. - Ensures all temperature logs and waste logs are maintained daily. - Receives, dates and examines food and supplies to ensure quality meet established standards and specifications. - Stocks and cleans kitchen at end of shift according to cleanliness standards. - Displays a professional image at all times through appearance and interactions. - Follows company policies and procedures. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management - Breakfast hours are as follows: Saturday and Sunday 6:30A-12Pm - Social Evening hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 4Pm-9Pm - *Will be needed to work weekends and holidays. *Will be required to work in fast paced environment. - Will be required to work with common household cleaning products. - While we welcome all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 8 - 20 per week **Salary**: From $16.00 per hour Schedule: - Evening shift Supplemental pay types: - Tips **Experience**: - Food handling: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
