Job Description

Busy , established HVAC company (33 years) in Muskoka requires a licensed sheet metal installer. Gas license would be a benefit. Applicant must be able to lead installations.

Qualifications: Sheet Metal Mechanic

  • 308A or 308R Sheet Metal license

  • Class G Driver's license and clean driving record

  • Gas technician license (G2 or G3) an asset

Job Responsibilities include: Sheet Metal Mechanic

  • Fitting and installing ductwork in new construction and retro fit applications, custom metalwork for in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

  • Leadership skills; managing apprentices

  • Troubleshooting

  • Adaptability and problem solving skills

  • Planning, prioritizing tasks, and ordering materials for jobs

  • Physical demands -heavy lifting, standing, crouching, etc

  • Working at heights (ladders, lifts etc)

  • Fabrication of custom metalwork

Compensation: Sheet Metal Mechanic
