Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our family-owned and operated repair shop. We offer a clean & easy-going working environment, competitive pay & a full company-paid benefits package (after 3 months).

The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. This role requires strong communication skills and an excellent knowledge of the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive repair processes to help accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly, explaining necessary services and costs
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Handle payments efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of service orders, repairs and customer interactions

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is a MUST for understanding vehicle repairs and diagnostics
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts and maintenance schedules
  • Ability to handle payments accurately and responsibly
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude essential for representing our business
