Job Overview

Join our Electroless Nickel Plating Shop team as a Quality Control Specialist, where your keen eye and dedication to excellence will ensure the highest standards in our plating processes. In this vital role, you will oversee quality assurance activities on our chemistry and perform detailed inspections on our coating finishes.

Please note that the pay will be considered on a case-by-case basis and established during the interview process based on your experience and skills.

Experience within a plating shop is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform titrations on our nickel plating tanks
  • Maintain and calibrate optimal nickel concentration and pH levels
  • Perform coating inspections on finished parts to confirm compliance
  • Collect and analyze data related to plating quality metrics, documenting findings accurately for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with production team to address quality issues
  • Support calibration and maintenance of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to guarantee measurement accuracy

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a plating environment is mandatory
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of quality issues
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams
