Project Description

The Richmond Hospital Perioperative Patient Asset Tracking Solution Project supports Vancouver Coastal Health (inclusive of Providence Health Care) and PHSA across acute, ambulatory, and community programs. The role will primarily support Real-Time Location Services (RTLS) and TeleTracking Capacity Management Suite teams. The Systems Analyst will perform day-to-day operational activities—application monitoring, documentation, troubleshooting, and implementing changes via the IMITS change control process—and may be asked to assist with project deliverables.

Services Required:

• Configuration & customization: Tailor applications to meet specific clinical and business needs.
• Troubleshooting & issue resolution: Diagnose and resolve application issues across test and production environments.
• Upgrades & patch management: Plan, test, and validate software updates for compatibility and stability.
• Requirements gathering: Elicit and translate stakeholder needs into clear technical specifications.
• Workflow analysis: Evaluate current processes; recommend improvements that drive clinical and operational outcomes.
• Data analysis & reporting: Create reports and data extracts to support decision-making.
• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical teams to align application functionality to operational goals.
• Change management support: Contribute to training, documentation, and communications during system changes.
• Day-to-day application & operational support: Monitor applications, triage incidents, perform configurations, and create test scripts/cases (e.g., using TestRail).
• Project support: Assist with in‑flight project deliverables as required.

Duties Include

• Serve as the application subject-matter expert for RTLS and TeleTracking Capacity Management Suite components (e.g., Capacity Management, CWS).
• Perform end‑to‑end analysis and resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Configure application settings, interfaces, and alerts; validate changes through structured testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria; maintain traceability.
• Document functional and technical specifications, configuration guides, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Coordinate and execute planned changes through the IMITS change control process; prepare back‑out plans.
• Partner with clinical operations to map perioperative and bed‑flow workflows and translate into system configuration.
• Build reports/dashboards and produce data extracts to support capacity, throughput, and asset tracking analytics.
• Support integrations and data quality activities with adjacent systems (e.g., ADT/bed‑management feeds, RTLS tags/readers).
• Provide knowledge transfer and contribute to transition‑to‑support materials.
• Constraints and Special Considerations

Location & eligibility: Must be based in Canada and able to work in alignment with Pacific Time. Preference may be given to Local/BC/Canadian‑domiciled consultants.

Start/End: Target start December 8, 2025; end December 8, 2026 (with potential extensions).

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience with TeleTracking products (e.g., Capacity Management Suite, RTLS, CWS).

Pay: Up to $95.00 per hour
