Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based web applications and backend services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Zend Framework.
  • Design and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) including schema design, optimization, and queries.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, RESTful services, and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Maintain documentation including system design, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards within application development.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience in PHP 7/8 and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern PHP framework (Laravel preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful services, and API development.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Job Type: Full-time
