Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes. This role offers an opportunity to oversee kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and service. A background in restaurant management, team management, and hospitality is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking, and presentation
  • Develop new menu items while maintaining consistency with established recipes
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
  • Monitor quality control to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
  • Demonstrated leadership in team management and restaurant management roles
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment and food handling procedures
  • Previous restaurant experience within the food industry is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and courteously
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards and a passion for culinary excellence

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
