Overview

Golf On Lounge is hiring a reliable, experienced Part-Time Cook to support our kitchen during peak service and event nights. This role is best suited for someone who understands real kitchen work and is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities beyond the line.

This is a hands-on, all-around kitchen position not just cooking and clocking out. You'll be expected to cook, clean, close, and support the operation as a whole.

Schedule & Availability

This position is primarily evenings and weekends, averaging around 20–25 hours per week.

Candidates must be available to:

  • Work late closings until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays & Saturdays
  • Work evening shifts until 11:00 p.m. Sunday–Thursday
  • Consistently cover Friday & Saturday shifts, with additional shifts typically on Sunday and Thursday

If you are not able to work late closing shifts, this role will not be the right fit.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to standard recipes and specifications
  • Handle service, prep, and plating during busy periods
  • Wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, and keep stations organized
  • Break down stations, take out garbage, and assist with closing duties
  • Assist with catering prep, setup, and cleanup when scheduled
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and organization standards
  • Support the Head Chef and team wherever needed

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen / line cook experience is required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do all aspects of kitchen work
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction
  • Able to work independently during late shifts
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
