**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in food service or as a line cook in a restaurant setting.
- Strong meal preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: $17.20-$30.43 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
