We are seeking a skilled Journeyman with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality automotive repair services. This position requires proficiency in using hand tools, understanding schematics, and performing various repairs. hourly rates start at $36-$40 per hour based on skill and experience.

responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical , electrical and driveline issues.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance on various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Assemble and disassemble automotive components as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.

Skills:

  • Advanced mechanical knowledge and understanding of all automotive systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems
  • Good communication skills for interacting with team members
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Having some diesel knowledge would be an asset .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
