Field Technician – Pacific AeroBarrier (Greater Vancouver)

Full-Time | Permanent | $18 to $30 per hour

Hands-On Experience in High-Performance Construction

Pacific AeroBarrier is a growing company using advanced air sealing technology to help builders meet modern airtightness and energy efficiency standards. We work on a wide range of projects across the Lower Mainland, including custom homes, laneway houses, multifamily developments, and Passive House builds.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn by doing, especially if you're interested in construction, energy-efficient building, or building science.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate AeroBarrier equipment on active job sites
  • Prepare spaces for sealing and monitor results during each application
  • Work on a variety of projects throughout Greater Vancouver
  • Learn how air leakage affects building performance and how to identify and solve issues on-site
  • Gain exposure to real-world construction challenges and methods

Who You Are

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable on construction sites and physically able to handle equipment
  • Experience in construction, HVAC, or energy-related fields is a plus but not required
  • Interested in how buildings are built and how to improve them and how to keep it tight

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Own PPE: steel-toe boots, high-visibility vest, and hard hat
  • Have own basic tools
  • Available for weekend work
