Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. This role involves working on a variety of projects, utilizing hand and power tools, and collaborating with skilled tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction of residential and commercial properties.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks, including but not limited to caulking, cabinet installation, flooring installation, and concrete forming.
  • Support carpenters in framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
  • Perform basic electrical tasks as needed under supervision.
  • Engage in other construction activities when required for specific projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of caulking, cabinet installation, flooring installation, concrete forming, electrical work, welding, or carpentry is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
