Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correct and undamaged.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to load and unload products.
  • Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order processing.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and heavy equipment operation is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to warehouse machinery.
  • Experience with shipping & receiving procedures will be beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.

Nous recherchons un Préparateur de commandes dédié et attentif aux détails pour rejoindre notre équipe d'entrepôt. Le candidat idéal jouera un rôle crucial dans l'exactitude du traitement des commandes et dans le maintien d'opérations efficaces au sein de l'entrepôt. Ce poste exige une bonne compréhension des processus de distribution en entrepôt ainsi que la capacité à utiliser différents types d'équipements de manière sûre et efficace.

Responsabilités

  • Préparer et prélever avec précision les commandes pour l'expédition, en s'assurant que tous les articles sont corrects et non endommagés.

  • Utiliser l'équipement d'entrepôt tel que les chariots élévateurs, pinces hydrauliques et grues pour charger et décharger les produits.

  • Exploiter un système de gestion d'entrepôt (WMS) afin de suivre les niveaux d'inventaire et de gérer le traitement des commandes.

  • Effectuer des levages lourds au besoin, en respectant toujours les protocoles de sécurité.

  • Participer aux tâches d'expédition et de réception, y compris la vérification des livraisons entrantes avec les bons de commande.

  • Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organisé pour favoriser l'efficacité et la sécurité dans l'entrepôt.

  • Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe afin d'atteindre les objectifs et délais opérationnels quotidiens.

Expérience

  • Une expérience préalable en entrepôt ou centre de distribution est souhaitée.

  • La maîtrise des processus de préparation de commandes et de l'utilisation de matériel lourd est essentielle.

  • Des connaissances mécaniques constituent un atout, notamment en lien avec les machines d'entrepôt.

  • Une expérience en expédition et réception sera bénéfique.

  • La capacité à effectuer régulièrement des levages lourds tout au long du quart de travail est requise.

  • Une expérience dans la construction ou des domaines connexes peut être avantageuse pour la compréhension du fonctionnement des équipements.
