This position's term is May 1, 2026 to August 29, 2026 and is required to work in the Lacombe Central office.

End User Support Summer Student

As the End User Support Summer Student, you are a problem solver and a strong communicator. You bring a passion for outstanding technical support and a commitment to excellent customer service. You are the first impression for end users and a key contributor to the Digital Operations team in meeting service goals.

What will your growth opportunities look like in this role?

  • Gain hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving technical incidents and service requests
  • In-house learning and development with exposure to enterprise-level digital operations

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manage end user support by receiving, responding to, resolving, and escalating incidents and service requests through multiple communication channels (phone, email, online)
  • Perform entry-level diagnosis and resolution of operational or technical issues
  • Apply technical skills to repair and process requests for end user devices and software
  • Resolve calls within agreed service levels and follow up with end users to confirm functionality before closing tickets
  • Provide excellent service using remote support tools
  • Maintain compliance with corporate standards, security, confidentiality, and policies
  • Act as the single point of contact for incidents, problems, and service requests

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education institute and attending in the Fall 2026 semester (proof of enrollment required upon interview)
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's or diploma program in one of the following areas:
  • Computer Systems
  • Desktop Support
  • Network Administration
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Programming
