Jacob Bros Construction is immediately hiring a Heavy Duty Mechanic to support our shop and maintenance facility in South Surrey, BC.

- Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certification
- Valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement required
- Minimum of four (4) years' Red Seal certified experience
- Minimum ten years experience
- Welding experience an asset
- Prior experience with Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, Komatsu equipment
- CSTS certificate, First Aid and WHMIS certificate(s) are an asset
- Repair and service Caterpillar, Hitachi, Deere, Komatsu equipment both in the shop and in the field
- Diagnose, identify and repair problems, faults and malfunctions in structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
- Maintain and repair vehicles including but not limited to: earth moving equipment, trucks, trailers and tracked equipment
- Use hand and power tools to repair and perform maintenance on equipment
- Take direction from shop Foreman and work harmoniously with co-workers to ensure all repairs and tests are performed satisfactorily
- Other duties as assigned
