Executive Head Chef for a Halal Bangladeshi/ Pakistani Cuisine Restaurant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Head Chef for our Pakistani/ Bangladeshi Halal cuisine restaurant. You will be a pivotal member of our team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of meal preparation, cooking, and presentation, while supervising and training our kitchen personnel.

Key Details:

Position: Executive Head Chef

Cuisine Focus: Halal Bangladeshi/Pakistani Cuisine

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Work Language: English

Salary Range: $ $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef or in an equivalent senior culinary role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or diploma
  • Work Environment: Proven ability to thrive and maintain high performance in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking food on a daily basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Assisting in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
  • Creating new recipes
  • Arranging for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with the industry regulations
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
