Job Summary

Jpays Truck and Trailers Services Ltd, located at Building 10 New Horizon Park, Suite 1002, Pilot Butte, SK, S0G3Z0, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Automobile Service Shop Manager to oversee daily operations. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of quality in all service and repair activities. The position is full time/permanent with an hourly wage of $44.71.

Duties

  • Manage and control daily operations related to customer service, sales, and cash handling
  • Manage staff, assign duties and monitor job progress
  • Responsible for determining and maintaining appropriate staff levels
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure repeat customers by handling customer concerns promptly
  • Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies necessary for daily operations
  • Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
  • Review, schedule and ensure completion of work orders
  • Consult with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Control expenses, manage budgets, process invoices, and report performance to higher management

  • Requirements
  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • College Certificate or Diploma (post secondary)
  • Ability to communicate in English (primary language at work)
  • Leadership abilities to manage a team efficiently and motivate staff toward common goals
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Clear focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to take responsibility and accountability
