This posting will be used to fill 1 term full-time position working 75 bi-weekly for 1 year. This posting will also be used for Anticipatory full-time permanent position.

It will establish a 6-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.

The Yukon's Emergency Medical Services (YEMS) team delivers a wide scope of pre-hospital care. We deliver medical interventions, treatments, and critical care in every corner of the Yukon. Your role

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Yukon EMS Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering continuing medical education to Yukon EMS staff including remedial education in specific areas. The Clinical Educator facilitates scenario-based learning opportunities for staff and volunteers including the design and facilitated delivery of the educational components required for the introduction of new equipment, clinical policies, clinical guidelines (etc.).

Essential qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

• Advanced and/or Critical care paramedic registered with a regulatory authority
• Experience facilitating educational instruction;
• Experience facilitating Heart and Stroke adult education sessions is an asset;
• Pediatric Neonatal Critical Care Transport (PNCCT), Infant Transport Team (ITT), Neonatal Intensive Care Unite (NICU), or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) designation is considered and asset.
