What you'll do

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed
  • Apply paint and finishes using various techniques, including airless paint spraying and brush application
  • Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and timelines
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for precise application
  • Perform restoration and renovation tasks on cabinetry, ensuring high-quality results
  • Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency .
  • Prepare, sand, clean, and prime cabinet surfaces for proper paint adhesion.
  • Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, and finishes using spray, brush, or roll techniques.
  • Inspect and repair surfaces to ensure smooth, high-quality finishes.
  • Maintain tools, spray equipment, and a clean, safe work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and handle materials according to regulations.
  • Stay updated on new products and techniques to ensure consistent, top-quality results.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in Kitchen Cabinetry Industry.
  • Strong understanding of color theory and finishing techniques
  • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with plastering, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and masonry
  • Knowledge of construction estimating and basic math skills for project planning
  • Ability to perform maintenance person tasks such as fixture installation and concrete finishing
  • Welding experience is a plus
