Shift Time-5am-3pm(Tue-Wed-Thurs)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other desserts, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs, adhering to customer specifications and presentation standards.
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and packaging products for sale or delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following food safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking special orders, and answering product-related questions.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and decorating tools.
  • Ensure proper packaging of baked goods for retail or wholesale distribution.
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Experience

  • Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery operations is highly preferred.
  • Restaurant experience or food industry background is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, baking processes, and kitchen safety standards.
  • Experience in customer service roles within a food setting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and proper sanitation practices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, creative cake decorating, and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.01 per hour
