Our client; Ontario Pork, in Guelph is seeking a
Customer Service Coordinator
to join their dynamic team in Guelph. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is motivated to contribute to the success of a vital agricultural supply chain.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our agricultural marketing division by coordinating logistics, managing data, and ensuring clear and timely communication with producers, transportation providers, and processing partners.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for farmers, transporters, and processing facilities
  • Communicate scheduling updates, delivery times, and changes with professionalism and clarity
  • Proactively address and resolve issues to maintain smooth transportation and customer satisfaction

Scheduling and Logistics

  • Organize and manage schedules to ensure timely and efficient logistics
  • Prioritize urgent matters and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Ensure all necessary transporter documentation is completed

Data Management

  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including scheduling and pricing data
  • Ensure all contact and contract information is current and complete
  • Support the team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed

Sales Support

  • Assist with pricing coordination and order processing
  • Monitor market data and help administer forward pricing transactions

Requirements

  • Experience in agriculture or familiarity with the agriculture industry is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database application
