Senior Project Manager/Program Manager, Professional Services
to join our Professional Services for exciting opportunities in Atlantic Canada, with positions based in Halifax. While we're especially interested in candidates with Utilities experience, we also have upcoming opportunities across a variety of industry sectors.

What You Will Do
- Lead client technical/business solutions projects and initiatives, either as part of an IMP Solutions team or assigned to client-directed work.
- Lead and/or assists with the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and assist sales team in business development activities
- Develop project scope-of-work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefits, costs, work schedule, project resource requirements and related risks
- Work with technical SMEs to devise approach and manages the system development/implementation process
- Assign, schedules, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected quality guidelines, planned schedule and planned budget
- Identify, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues/risks, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects
- Mentor and provides expertise to other project team members, as well as manage third party vendors, as needed on behalf of the Client
- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members. Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations
- Adopt and utilizes our clients' methodologies or brings IMP Solutions' methods and best practices to assignments through deep experience of industry tools and techniques

What You Need To Succeed
- 8+ years in IT, including large scale project/program management experience in a consulting capacity. Public sector experience would be an asset
- Utilities experience would be an asset
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Sciences or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- An expert in project management and delivery methodologies and techniques
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with our Clients senior management and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects with varying resources and conflicting/competing timelines
- Working knowledge or organizational change management practices (e.g. Prosci) would be considered an asset
