About the role:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)
is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values
and ensures that those values guide all decisions. Creating a caring environment for patients and families ensures
continuity of care and fosters a learning environment. Applicants are required to have a demonstrated knowledge,
understanding and commitment to this care philosophy.
Reporting to the Manager ‑ Corporate Patient Flow, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing on site
management support and direction to all departments in the hospital on evenings and weekends. Supported by the
Senior Manager On‑Call, the Administrative Coordinator will also provide first‑line on‑call backup to the Hospital
during off hours.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse possessing a current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
* Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (preferred)
* Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
* Current BCLS certification
* Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and decision making skills
* Demonstrated effective communication skills
* Familiarity with Collective Agreements
* Knowledgeable about hospital policy and procedure, goals, objectives and standards
* Positive work record
This position requires a certain degree of flexibility. Hours of work will include a rotation of days, evenings and night
call.
Salary Range: $53.290 to 66.620

work is imperative, therefore, all applicants will have to demonstrate a good attendance record to be considered for
this position.
