Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills and experience with various CAD software, contributing to the design and development of engineering projects. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design schematics and construction documents.
  • Utilize software such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for project-specific requirements.
  • Prepare mechanical designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in the development of project specifications and documentation.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients.
  • Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any challenges.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with additional software such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction practices.
  • Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings for various projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices in the industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
