Join our dynamic team as a CAD Drafter/Designer, where your creativity and technical expertise will shape the future of design In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and architects to produce detailed drawings and plans using cutting-edge software. Your contributions will be vital in transforming concepts into reality, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly from start to finish.

What you'll do

  • Create precise 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks to bring designs to life.
  • Develop detailed schematics and drafting documents for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and project coordination, enhancing communication among team members.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to refine designs based on feedback and project requirements.
  • Conduct mechanical design work, focusing on functionality and efficiency while adhering to project timelines.
  • Engage in regular quality checks of drawings to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and material lists for various projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve design practices.

Basic qualifications

  • Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and 2D animation tools.
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in mechanical design or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations relevant to drafting and design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
