About the Opportunity

  1. Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
  2. Provide strong support for international platform financial reporting and analysis.
  3. Oversee and support the finance team, offering training, process guidance, and performance monitoring.
  4. Maintain and enhance group-wide accounting policies and procedures in alignment with IFRS/GAAP standards and internal control frameworks.
  5. Ensure accuracy of accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries; resolve accounting discrepancies proactively.
  6. Deliver high-quality financial analysis to support initiatives such as working capital optimization, profitability improvement, and cost management.
  7. Lead the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of required documentation.
  8. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, develop financial models to support business and financial planning.
  9. Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across applicable jurisdictions.
  10. Drive improvements in financial systems, data integrity, ERP utilization, and automation of reporting tools.
  11. Lead internal control compliance initiatives as assigned.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned, including involvement in special projects and cross-functional initiatives

About You

  • CPA or foreign designation is
    required
    .
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in a similar Controller-level role.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Canadian GAAP.
  • Strong cost accounting background and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A mature and collaborative leader with a hands-on approach, strong ownership mindset, and a positive, adaptable attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally and in diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems (ERP knowledge preferred).
