Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Cambridge, ON. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, maintenance and repair, and industrial maintenance tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a three (3) to four (4) year apprenticeship program or a combination of over five (5) years of work experience and industry courses in industrial machinery repair or millwrighting.
  • Post-secondary education in a technical / engineering discipline or Industrial Skilled Trade License (442A/433A) or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and create/maintain a preventative maintenance program.
  • Welding skills are preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a food processing organization.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities.
